Local A&D Trade Manager – Gaggenau
Location: New York City metro / Full-time
Your Responsibilities
The A&D Trade Manager delivers a Gaggenau brand experience to our trade clients that matches our ultra‑luxury product positioning. Over 80% of Ultra‑Luxury Clients follow their specifiers’ product recommendations, so it is critical to create a direct channel with these industry influencers.
Key responsibilities include:
Define and develop sales programs through education and brand awareness strategies for the region’s luxury trade (designers/architects/single‑home builders), managing growth and driving retail sales to meet annual revenue goals.
Lead regional business development of the Gaggenau trade program by identifying and onboarding key specifiers (luxury and ultra‑luxury designers/architects/builders/kitchen studios) who influence purchasing decisions.
Oversee the region’s trade program leads’ funnel through collaboration with the Gaggenau MarCom agency and showroom trade leads.
Manage day‑to‑day operations of the trade program, supporting members’ needs for specifying Gaggenau appliances and meeting annual sales performance minimums.
Support trade rewards fulfillment systems and tracking between dealer accounts and trade clients.
Provide Gaggenau product expertise to trade and dealers, pairing parties together when needed, in collaboration with the Gaggenau Sales Manager and BSH Sales.
Create and host training curriculum for trade clients, in person and virtually.
Review design projects with expertise in kitchen design planning to guide trade clients on appliance placement.
Manage measurability reports and track NPS or other client satisfaction reporting.
Maintain a CRM database (e.g., Sales Force) of regional trade specifiers and track KPIs.
Organize trade cultivation/brand awareness events in collaboration with Trade Marketing/Brand Manager, BSH Sales and Experience Center Teams.
Identify and deliver marketing assets from trade program members for brand usage.
Work with Gaggenau Sales Managers, BSH District Sales Managers, BSH Builder Sales Managers and Dealer Sales Associates to share project opportunities.
Oversee the trade client journey from planning and order specifying to delivery/install and post‑purchase follow‑up.
Support Gaggenau Sales Managers in dealer account efforts as needed.
Assist with creation/verification of sales tools and materials for the Brand Team.
Profile / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree – required.
Certification in interior architecture/design spatial planning – required.
5‑7 years of experience in luxury home design, account management, and business development.
5‑7 years of experience in spatial planning with knowledge of architectural and design plans (CAD/BIM).
Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate day‑to‑day communications with internal teams and clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Spanish a plus.
Strong presentation skills, both in person and virtually, including sales/training presentations and light cooking demos.
Ability to identify opportunities to improve workflows and practices.
Work independently and within a team dynamic.
Attention to detail and prioritization of projects and responses.
Extensive knowledge of Gaggenau brand and products, including competitors.
Passion for cooking and usage of luxury appliances.
Understanding of luxury brand marketing and ability to leverage relationships into brand assets.
Excellent people skills, computer skills, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM database management.
Domestic travel (car, airplane, boat, etc.) – 50‑75% of time in the field; overnight and weekend travel may be required.
Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle.
CEU accreditation within first 6 months of role.
Pay & Benefits
Pay range per location:
New York – $112,714 – $150,285
New Jersey – $108,018 – $144,023
Other locations – $117,410 – $156,547
