How You Will Make An Impact
The Apparel Product Manager will be responsible for the management of the assigned product category, both hardgoods and apparel. The manager will drive the agreed‑upon product strategy, work cross‑functionally with other functional areas to execute the product plan, and ensure project timelines are met.

Responsibilities

Support and manage the assigned category.

Manage assigned style, design, and appropriate system support.

Conduct category competitive analysis.

Work cross‑functionally to support category priorities.

Collaborate with vendors on category needs, product costing, programs, and development.

Analyze consumer insights and trends.

Communicate the category assortment for the season.

Provide information on style and system set‑up.

Provide category, style, and recommended pricing information for all marketing materials.

Catalog and maintain samples.

Work with Demand Planning/Forecasting on product/market needs and trends.

Present the product category at select sales events.

Oversee the E&O process, identifying and directing on E&O items.

Create and manage any vendor rebate programs in conjunction with finance.

Qualifications

Ability to manage sensitive matters and information with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

Attention to detail, ability to multitask, remain organized and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.

Self‑motivated team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and pivot responsibilities smoothly.

Incorporate customer‑centric values and SPIRIT principles into the company mission, vision, and core values.

Excellent communication skills (listening, writing and verbal) across all levels of an organization.

Knowledge of Federal and State Human Resource related laws and regulations.

Comfortable with conflict resolution.

Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required; Associate (or Bachelor) degree preferred.

2+ years of relevant experience.

Proven success in communicating across all levels of an organization.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems/technology.

Physical Demands
This role is performed in a professional office environment and is largely sedentary. The job may involve filing, opening filing cabinets, lifting files, and occasional bending.
