ZINC Zillow, Inc. is hiring: Photographer, Zillow Media Experts in New York

About the role Part‑time photographer based in Long Island, NY. Typically 10-20 hours per week, with possibility of more during high demand. May lead to full‑time opportunities.
Responsibilities Capture professional still photography, listing videos, 3D or 360° virtual tours, drone photography & videos (when needed), and social media videos for for‑sale or for‑rent properties.
Use advanced photography techniques and equipment to highlight unique features and aesthetics of each property.
Coordinate with clients on‑site to understand photography needs and provide guidance during sessions.
Use proprietary technology to create rich media experiences and ensure all photographs adhere to brand guidelines.
Maintain and manage photography equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Organize, upload, and post‑process captured media meeting all deadlines and appointment punctuality guidelines.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices; develop creative concepts to showcase properties.
Collaborate with Regional Managers, Market Leaders, other photographers and external partners to deliver cohesive visual assets.
Adapt to future media, product, or processing changes.
Represent Zillow Media Experts professionally.
Qualifications Experiences capturing high‑quality real‑estate photography, videos, 3D tours, and drone media.
Deep understanding of photography fundamentals with DSLR/Mirrorless systems.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, ability to drive within a 60+ mile radius.
Minimum 20 hours per week availability; usually less than 20.
Internet upload speed at least 15Mbps preferred.
Located near Long Island, NY.
Ability to learn Zillow Media Expert processes and computer systems.
Proficiency in customer service and professional business communication.
Independent worker, punctual, detail‑oriented.
Equipment Requirements Professional full‑frame or crop‑sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera capable of 5‑point bracket shooting (Auto Exposure Bracketing).
Wide‑angle lens (e.g., 15‑35mm full‑frame or 10‑22mm crop).
Ball head or geared head tripod (video fluid head tripods not acceptable).
Additional Requirements May be expected to obtain an FAA Part107 drone license, complete training, and safely operate drones based on business need.
Ability and willingness to adhere to standard pay ranges per location.
