Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer with strong full-stack and backend engineering capabilities, focused on building scalable enterprise applications and data-driven user experiences. This role requires deep expertise in Java-based systems, backend services, APIs, and database technologies, along with an eye for building intuitive and high-quality user experiences.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable enterprise-grade applications with a strong focus on performance, usability, and maintainability
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate requirements into functional, responsive, and user-friendly applications
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end and system interactions
- Optimize application performance across frontend-backend-data layers
- Work on database design, queries, and optimization for large-scale systems
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and release management
- Ensure code quality through best practices in development, testing, and version control
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 6–8 years of professional experience in software development or related engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (JDK 17 or above)
- Deep expertise in Spring Boot framework and backend development
- Proven experience in building and consuming REST APIs
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and processes, including:
- Git
- Jenkins
- Maven
- JaCoCo (code coverage)
- Strong database expertise with SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle and/or Snowflake databases (preferred)
- Exposure to reporting tools and data visualization/reporting systems
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centric design thinking
- Experience working in enterprise-scale, distributed systems
- Ability to bridge frontend UX requirements with backend engineering implementation
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Experience working in Agile development environments
