Associate Director, Brand Strategy (Distribution)

Title: Associate Director, Brand Strategy (Distribution)
Reports to: President, Distribution and VP, Digital Strategy
Location: New York, NY (On-Site, 5 days a week in office)
Roc Nation is seeking an Associate Director, Brand Strategy for Roc Nation distribution owned and operated properties. In this role you will work with the President, the VP, Digital and other key stakeholders to develop a multi‑channel social strategy for maximum views, impact, growth and acquisition. This position will support the continued development and growth for a diverse roster of Roc Nation artists and the Roc Nation Distribution brand.
Key Responsibilities

Content Marketing – develop and execute digital marketing/sales and content distribution strategies, present and develop content calendars, rollout strategies and content ideas to drive awareness and adoption of the Roc Nation Distribution platform.
Partner Management – support and manage relationships with key digital partner accounts, liaise with label distribution partners to execute digital sales plans and marketing initiatives.
Content Development – produce and post digital content, including text, images, videos; liaise with the creative department, product managers and digital marketing leads to develop artist‑focused content.
Site and Social Development / Management – support and manage Roc Nation Distribution website and social channels, including redesigns and updates around new platform features.
Creative Marketing and Revenue Development – grow artist awareness, site traffic and content syndication through third‑party editorials, feature placements, social networking strategies, influencer marketing, marketing programs, D2C initiatives, contests/sweepstakes and exclusive content promotions to drive revenue.
Reporting and Analysis – compile and distribute regular reports to internal team, utilize data to evaluate campaign efficacy, assess internal and competitive digital campaign performances, and determine promotion success and areas of opportunity.
Other Priority Marketing – develop and execute content release campaigns, tour promotions, and other marketing efforts around artist launches as needed.
Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing digital distribution and social platform relationships.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Extensive knowledge of and passion for the music market.
In‑depth understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies and digital music services.
Excellent copywriting skills; ability to write under pressure for multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Proficiency with basic audio, photo and video editing programs.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Track record of building and maintaining strong business relationships.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self‑driven initiative, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative, positive, flexible team mindset.
Experience running reports and exporting data from Google Analytics, email service providers, CRM and other audio/video/social platforms.
Experience with social management and listening platforms.
Experience with content management systems, especially WordPress.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is: $108,000.00 USD – $135,000.00 USD. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
Live Nation Entertainment will never request payment or equipment purchases as part of the hiring process.
