Job description:
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):
• Configure and maintain ARENA PLM software
• Manage the flow of product data throughout its lifecycle, ensuring accurate product information is maintained in the PLM system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other administrators to seamlessly integrate PLM into other systems such as SolidWorks and ERP systems.
• Assist product development, design changes, and updates to ensure that product documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with R&D, engineering, and production teams to ensure a seamless transition from concept to production.
• Monitor product obsolescence and coordinate with relevant departments to manage end-of-life (EOL) processes for products.
• Implement and enforce data management best practices within the organization
• Regularly audit data repositories to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Provide user support and training as needed

Document Control:
• Maintain an organized system for all company documentation, ensuring it is easily accessible
• Manage change and revision control for engineering and manufacturing documentation, such as drawings, bills of materials, engineering change orders, part number assignments, etc.
• Facilitate the timely change, approval, and release of product documentation and data to include modifications to bills of material in the ERP system.
• Coordinate the controls associated with the transmission of various levels of documentation to external supplier and customer systems.
• Provide support on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.
• Record, maintain, and report the configuration status of As-Built baselines as required.
• Ensure proper storage of all documentation, both physical and electronic, and implement document retention policies.
• Assist in audits and inspections, ensuring that document control practices meet quality, regulatory, and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in PLM and document control within a manufacturing or operational setting.
• Experience with PLM systems (Arena strongly preferred) and document control software (e.g., SharePoint).
