2nd Shift Production Supervisor

The 2nd Shift Supervisor will oversee production functions of 8-10 employees on the fabrication floor, including day-to-day supervision of employee functions.
Shift: 2:00p – 12:30p Monday – Thursday and every other Sunday.
Job duties include:
Day-to-day supervision, engagement and development of department employees (developing relationships, coaching, training, etc.)
Model a "Lead by Example" approach by exhibiting excellent work ethic and efficiency strategies, while working side by side with direct report in the fabrication area
Review, monitor and follow-up on area results. This includes managing department costs to remain within budget guidelines
Maintain customer relations by ensuring product quality specifications are met
Process optimization
Manage and ensure compliance and improvement in safety
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary
Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications:
Fabrication or a similar function: 3 years' experience
Supervision/Lead: 2 years' experience
Demonstrated leadership, coaching and team building skills
Must have the capability to function effectively as a member of a highly motivated management team
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively
Working knowledge of fabrication blueprints
Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Basic Mathematical Skills
