About the Role

We connect small business owners seeking financing with the lenders best positioned to help them. As an Account Manager on our Marketplace team, you'll be the primary relationship owner for our lending partners: the banks, online lenders, specialty finance brokers, and SBA lenders who receive business financing leads through our platform. The partnerships you manage directly shape the experience on both sides of the marketplace. When lenders receive well-matched leads and have a smooth, transparent process to work with, small business owners are more likely to find the right financing and get funded. This role is fundamentally about building those partnerships with care, understanding each lender's unique criteria, ensuring they're getting real value from the relationship, and working collaboratively to drive better outcomes for everyone involved.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of lending partners, building deep, trust-based relationships with their teams
  • Own the performance of your partner accounts, tracking key metrics including conversion rates, contact rates, funded rates, CPL, and CPA to ensure partners are seeing a strong return on their lead spend
  • Collaborate with partners to optimize lead programs by refining targeting criteria, adjusting volume levels, and fine-tuning filters to improve match quality and lower acquisition costs
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each partner's technical setup, including how they receive and process leads, their internal workflows, and any system dependencies that affect campaign performance
  • Troubleshoot API and lead delivery issues in coordination with internal technical teams, serving as the primary point of contact for partners when integration problems arise
  • Identify underperforming accounts and work proactively with partners to diagnose conversion issues and implement changes that improve outcomes
  • Conduct regular business reviews focused on campaign performance, ROI trends, and opportunities to improve efficiency across the lead lifecycle
  • Work with internal teams to test and implement optimizations at the program level, from lead scoring adjustments to delivery timing and volume pacing
  • Act as an internal advocate for your partners, coordinating with operations, product, and finance teams to resolve quality disputes, delivery issues, and billing questions
  • Stay current on trends in small business lending so you can have informed, peer-level conversations with partner contacts
  • Maintain accurate account records, performance notes, and activity logs in the CRM

What We're Looking For

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in account management, affiliate marketing, or lead generation, preferably at a lead marketplace, performance network, or financial services company
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance reports and translate findings into clear, actionable guidance for partners
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate performance data, insights, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of lead gen economics: CPL, CPA, conversion funnels, lead quality scoring, and return on lead spend
  • Comfortable in conversations with lenders, underwriters, and sales managers about lead performance and program fit
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through; comfortable managing a portfolio of 20+ active accounts
  • A natural relationship builder who earns trust through consistency, responsiveness, and genuine investment in partner success
  • Ability to travel approximately 5 to 10% of the time for partner meetings, industry events, and team offsites.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 depending on experience
  • On-Target Earnings: $100,000 to $120,000 with uncapped commission potential
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Flexible PTO and company-wide recharge days
