About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President for Educational Programming and Student Achievement to provide dynamic and strategic leadership in the development and implementation of quality instructional programs and student success initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire student life cycle, from entry to graduation, and will work to attract, enroll, and retain students while maintaining high academic standards. This role involves collaborating across the institution to drive enrollment growth and retention, leveraging technology for program development and marketing, and ensuring the quality and integrity of all degree and certificate programs. The Executive Vice President will also be involved in institutional oversight for student success initiatives, and innovative instructional formats, and will be a key leader in aligning the efforts of the Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs divisions.
Applicants for the Executive Vice President position must have a Doctorate degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in higher education. A deep commitment to the mission of the comprehensive community college, a record of promoting student access, equity, and success, and a strong focus on diversity are essential. The role requires a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in academic program development, assessment, and student support services. The ideal candidate will have experience with regional and programmatic accreditation standards, and federal and state requirements, and a strong background in budget planning, strategic planning, and fiscal management. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a student-centered leadership approach are also necessary, as is the ability to foster partnerships and identify funding opportunities to support academic and student achievement initiatives.
