Master Control Operator

to join the Master Control Team.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and control television broadcast equipment

Monitor television broadcast equipment to transmit television programs and commercials to the viewing audience

Conduct on‑air switching, dubbing, and transferring programs

Manage and gather satellite feeds for broadcast use

Support the production of newscasts and other live or taped programming for television and multi‑platform use

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience in broadcast or video production

Proficiency with computer applications, including word processing and database software

Hands‑on experience with television equipment operation, automation systems, and tape and disk‑based video servers

Working knowledge of satellite controllers, video waveform monitors, vectorscopes, master control switching and routing systems

Proven ability to perform accurately and efficiently under the pressure of television operations control

Developed and displayed responsible work habits with minimal supervision

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay rate: $20–$23 per hour, with the final offer dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. The role is also eligible for benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
