Overview of the Role
As the Director - Data, Identity & Addressability, you will define and lead InMobi’s strategy across data, identity, and audience ecosystems in the NA region, driving competitive differentiation and long‑term revenue growth in a rapidly evolving, privacy‑first landscape.
You will oversee a portfolio of strategic partnerships spanning identity frameworks, clean rooms, data marketplaces, and audience providers, while building a scalable, future‑proof approach to addressability across mobile app, mobile web, and CTV. In this role, you will act as a senior cross‑functional leader, aligning Product, Sales, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing around a unified vision for data and identity. You will also serve as a key executive voice externally with partners, clients, and industry stakeholders.
Impact You’ll Make
- Operationalize Partnerships: Move beyond deal‑making to own the end‑to‑end partnership lifecycle and drive business outcomes within defined timelines.
- Drive Execution & Adoption: Partner with Product and Engineering to translate complex partner capabilities (e.g., UID2, CDPs, Clean Rooms) into scalable, differentiated offerings for our clients.
- Agency & Holding Co. Liaison: Act as the technical‑commercial lead for NA‑based Agency Data & Analytics teams to ensure InMobi’s identity stack aligns with their central requirements.
- Privacy‑by‑Design Execution: Ensure all partnerships meet evolving global standards (GDPR, CCPA) by overseeing the technical implementation of industry frameworks such as GPP (Global Privacy Platform).
- Internal Enablement: Serve as the “SME” for the Sales and Product Marketing teams, translating market trends and signal‑loss challenges into actionable field‑enablement tools.
- Custodian for Regional Activation: Hold the pen on the overall strategy for the region around audiences, data‑led curation, and targeting approaches to drive campaign outcomes.
Experience We Need
- Industry Tenure: 12–15 years of experience in ad‑tech, specifically within data partnerships, product partnerships, or technical business development.
- Domain Expertise: Deep technical understanding of identity solutions (MAIDs, UID2/EUID, first‑party frameworks, clean rooms, and modeled audiences).
- The “Left‑Brain” Edge: High technical literacy; you must be comfortable discussing API documentation, data schemas, and signal transmission with engineering leads.
- Programmatic Fluency: A strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including the impact of signal loss and the mechanics of the open web vs. walled gardens.
- Negotiation Prowess: Proven experience structuring and negotiating complex, high‑value partnership agreements that balance commercial gain with technical feasibility.
- Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional ability to simplify complex technical concepts for C‑level stakeholders and industry forums.
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
