Title: Technical Director, Collegium Center Stage Theater Jr. (CCST Jr.)

Summary
CCST Jr. Technical Director provides administrative, creative, and instructional support during the production of the CCST Jr. Spring Musical. The successful candidate will create and maintain a professional climate that promotes student growth, assist with stage crew & technical crew management, set/lighting/sound design, and set construction as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Enforces the CCS Student Code of Conduct, Uniform Code, and Computer Usage Code.
- Promotes good citizenship, maintains confidentiality of student information, and maintains professional ethics.
- Assists CCST Jr. Director with annual fall play and/or spring musical production, collaborates with coordinator to ensure technical needs, attends rehearsals and set building sessions, supervises student stage crew, technical crew, and prop masters.
Qualifications
- Experience with theatrical productions (plays and/or musical) as performer or technical crew.
- Experience with lighting systems (ETC, hanging, focus, patching).
- Experience with wireless sound systems (Shure, Dante, digital consoles).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical communications and work as part of a production team.
- Clearances: Criminal Background Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Clearance within one year.
- Meets criteria for employment in a PA Public School.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Noise level is usually mild to moderate.
