Director
Location: US-AL-Huntsville
Responsibilities
- Directing and driving the business group toward achieving technical objectives and financial goals based on short-term and long-term client requirements and division business plans
- Setting and communicating clear goals, expectations, processes, and direction for leaders within the business group, ensuring a balance between tactical actions and accountability of results, and alignment with SRC's values and culture
- Planning, forecasting, managing, and tracking all business group programs, schedules, budgets, and staffing
- Actively identifying additional follow-on or natural extension tasking with existing customers, pursuing new business opportunities, and negotiating agreements for business expansion with a variety of customers
- Developing marketing strategies and proposing long-range business plans
- Acting as liaison with government agencies, offices, SRC executive leadership, and directors
Requirements
- This job requires a minimum of a Master's degree and fifteen years of work-related experience, or a PhD degree and twelve years of work-related experience in a relevant technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires a senior level of proficiency to apply significant job-related experience; may assist others as a lead practitioner
- Primary required skill is leadership
- Other important skills include communication, strategic planning, business skills, computer skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills
- Previous director experience with a DoD contractor
Clearance Information
U.S. Citizenship is required, as well as a U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret Level.
