Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance modern, responsive UI components for the Dataflow internal product using React JS
- Collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into intuitive front-end solutions
- Integrate UI components with backend services and data workflows supporting enterprise data movement and processing
- Work within an Azure-based environment, leveraging knowledge of containers, storage, and Kubernetes-based compute
- Partner with data engineering teams to support UI features tied to ETL workflows, data pipelines, and data processing operations
- Contribute to application performance, scalability, and usability improvements
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and ongoing enhancement of the platform
- Help ensure front-end solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and development standards
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience building front‑end applications with React JS
- Experience working in Azure cloud environments
- Experience with Kubernetes, especially in environments where it is used heavily for compute and application orchestration
- Working knowledge of ETL processes and broader data engineering concepts
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both UI/application engineers and data/platform teams
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced enterprise environment
- Python, Spark experience is nice to have
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python
- Exposure to Apache Spark
- Additional experience with Kubernetes in application deployment, scaling, or orchestration contexts

The ideal candidate is a front‑end engineer who is comfortable operating in a cloud‑native, data‑driven environment. They understand not just how to build UI screens, but how those screens interact with data pipelines, compute platforms, and enterprise cloud infrastructure. This person should be able to communicate effectively across front‑end, platform, and data engineering teams while contributing to a core internal product at scale.
Pay range: the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
