Position: Regional Director, Women's Health Sales

Role Summary: Lead the sales and growth of Natera’s genetic testing products in Northern California, including noninvasive prenatal testing, carrier screening, and miscarriage testing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Educate and recruit Key Opinion Leaders from the OB/GYN community.
  • Represent Natera’s technology and service offerings to physicians and hospitals.
  • Develop and execute plans to ensure rapid distribution of all products.
  • Create business plans based on sales goals, expectations, and available resources, including regional strategies and tactics.
  • Recruit, select, hire, and train sales professionals within the region.
  • Provide constructive feedback to maximize sales professionals’ potential.
  • Allocate time in the field to support and mentor sales staff.
  • Use field input, market trends, and best practices to shape the region.
  • Plan and execute territory alignment for maximum ROI.
  • Support sales professionals with guidance and career development.
  • Build positive relationships with key customer segments, both internal and external.

Qualifications

  • BA in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Background in medical or biological sciences; clinical diagnostics preferred.
  • Minimum three years of physician sales experience in diagnostic laboratory business, preferably genetics.
  • Minimum five years of successful sales management experience in diagnostic laboratory business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven track record of leading a sales team to new markets, product launches, and rapid revenue growth.
  • Award-winning management experience.
  • Market knowledge in reproductive health (preferred).
  • Team-oriented, coachable, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication, initiative, and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.

Compensation & Total Rewards

$226,000 - $263,000 USD base salary with uncapped quarterly commissions. Additional benefits include a car allowance, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), 401(k) with company match, paid time off, bonus eligibility, wellness programs, and flexible work options.
