Associate Director, Design - Three Ten Merch
We are looking for an experienced Associate Director, Design to continue to elevate our product.
What you’ll do:
- Research and create mood boards & trend boards with a heavy focus on retail trends
- Strategize and execute merchandise concepts for various clients within the tour, E‑comm, and retail distribution channels
- Thoroughly research client’s history and current events prior to starting each project to provide accurate and insightful design direction
- Develop concepts and designs that align with overall merchandise strategy and business objectives
- Review all projects thoroughly to ensure all aspects of each brief have been addressed and that all artwork is either original or has been cleared for use
- Create production‑ready tech packs in a timely and detailed manner including specific color, techniques and sizing
- Work with the Creative Director to partner with in‑house and freelance artists to develop product linesParticipate in meetings internal and client‑facing
- Design social media marketing assets for clients
Who you are:
- Has a strong understanding of current pop culture trends within licensed IP, music, sports industries
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Based locally to the Los Angeles area to attend onsite client meetings
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Ensure timely delivery of all assignments at the highest level of quality
- Create and uphold brand design style guides
- Can work well both independently and with a team with excellent follow‑through and self‑initiative

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. California Pay Range $110,000 — $125,000 USD
