R000067472Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a Promo Team Member to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCE's Marketing department.**Purpose within the Organization:**

The purpose of this position is to support the Marketing Ground Events Team within the Marketing Department by assisting with admissions-focused events that promote Grand Canyon University to prospective high school and transfer students. This role plays a key part in creating welcoming, organized, and engaging event experiences for visitors on campus.**Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:*** Support full-time Marketing Event Planners with the setup, execution, and breakdown of admissions-focused events* Assist with event logistics, including room setup, moving materials/equipment, signage placement, and event tear-down* Manage day-of event operations such as guest check-in, directional assistance, crowd flow, and hospitality* Create a welcoming and positive experience for prospective students, families, school staff, and visitors while representing GCU in a professional and enthusiastic manner* Serve as event hosts for visiting school groups when needed, helping guide groups and maintain engagement throughout the visit* Communicate effectively with Admissions Counselors, event staff, and other university partners to ensure smooth event execution* Anticipating event needs and proactively assist with problem-solving in fast-paced environments* Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned**Equipment Used and Responsibility:*** Cell phone for communication through GroupMe and When I Work* Event materials and equipment including signage, check-in supplies, tables, carts, and promotional materials**Qualifications:*** Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills* Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable engaging with large groups and one-on-one interactions* Strong work ethic with willingness to perform hands-on, physically active event work* Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through on responsibilities* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities* Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and an eye for event presentation* Willingness to learn, take initiative, and do what is needed to support the team* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism* Must have a valid driver’s license**Experience/Education:**Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:•Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.•Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.•Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.*You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.***Pay Rate:** Minimum Wage
