About the Role

Instrument / Electrician – Dayton, OH. Join Primient in a foundational manufacturing role and earn a competitive wage and full benefits from day one. Starting pay is $35.52/hr, with the opportunity to advance to $38.14/hr under our pay‑for‑skill system, plus a $0.85 shift differential. Key Responsibilities

Fabricate, maintain, install, repair, calibrate, test, assemble, and inspect electrical installations, including pneumatic, electronic, regulating, and/or indicating instruments.
Work with electrical construction materials such as conductors, grounding systems, conduit, lighting, control devices, circuit breakers, switch gear, motors, generators, transformers, and timing devices.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of alarms, alarm panels, electrical interlocks, and other electrical safety devices.
Work from drawings, repair and operating instruction manuals, and written or oral instructions.
Follow procedures for checking and testing electrical and instrument loops before production release.
Assist PCS engineer in maintaining electrical schematics, loop diagrams, calibration records, and other instrumentation and electrical documentation.
Work under close supervision and assist other skilled tradesmen.
Install tubing in conjunction with instrument work.
Shift Schedule

Day Shift – Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm.
B Shift – 2:00pm to 10:00pm with rotating schedules: 7 days on/2 days off, 7 days on/1 day off, or 7 days on/4 days off in a 28‑day cycle.
This is a 365/24/7 operating plant, requiring weekend and holiday work.
Physical Requirements

Lifting up to 50pounds without mechanical assistance.
Using hand tools above shoulders and under ergonomically stressful conditions, applying heavy force.
Working in elevated positions with hand tools and fall restraint equipment.
Ability to wear personnel protective equipment (PPE).
