The successful candidate will initially work as an individual contributor while helping build and mentor a high-performing engineering team. This individual will play a critical role in establishing engineering standards, supporting a 24/7 broadcast environment, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of broadcast systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of broadcast engineering experience within television broadcasting or live production environments.
  • Previous experience serving as a Chief Broadcast Engineer or senior engineering leader preferred.

  • Expertise with IP-based broadcast infrastructure and SMPTE ST 2110 workflows.
  • Strong understanding of networking, enterprise IT infrastructure, routing, switching, and transmission systems.
  • Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring technical staff.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced television broadcast engineering leader with extensive hands-on expertise in live news operations, broadcast systems integration, and IP-based infrastructure.
