Owning the marketing strategy for Nex Play Pass and the games portfolio, the full-time remote Japan Senior Content & Games Marketing Manager will build the subscriber base, establish marketing foundations, and lead a growing team in one of the world's most competitive content markets.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute the Japan Play Pass marketing strategy focused on subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention
Drive go-to-market campaigns for new games and manage relationships with marketing agencies for Play Pass and games marketing
Build and lead a Performance Marketing function, optimizing paid media campaigns to enhance subscriber acquisition and engagement
Required qualifications
10+ years of marketing experience, with significant exposure to the Japanese consumer market and at least 3 years in a senior role
Proven track record in subscription marketing, including strategies for acquisition and retention in Japan
Hands-on experience in performance marketing across various digital channels, with strong analytical skills
Experience collaborating with US teams to adapt global marketing strategies for the Japanese market
Native or near-native Japanese proficiency and strong English for collaboration with international teams
