Longfellow Communications is seeking a motivated, curious, and hardworking Communications & Public Relations Intern to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional interested in communications, public relations, marketing, media relations, and strategic storytelling.

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to take initiative, and comfortable jumping into a variety of projects. No two days are the same at Longfellow, and the right candidate will be excited to gain hands‑on experience across multiple areas of agency work.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with media outreach and media list development

Monitoring news coverage and compiling reports

Supporting social media content creation and scheduling

Conducting research for client projects and new business opportunities

Drafting press releases, blog posts, social media content, and other communications materials

Assisting with event planning and execution

Supporting website content updates and digital communications efforts

Helping prepare presentations, reports, and client materials

Providing general administrative and project support as needed

What We're Looking For

Current college student, recent graduate, or individual with a strong interest in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented and organized

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesi>

Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude and willingness to tackle projects both large and small

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools

Experience with Microsoft Office and online design tools such as Canva
