Website Experience and Optimization Manager
Full Time | Location: Houston, Texas | Job Type: Contract | Compensation Range: $48 - 55 per hour
We are seeking a strategic Website Experience and Optimization Manager to lead the overarching strategy, user-journey mapping, and governance of multiple global web properties. Operating at a high strategic level, you will own the digital roadmap and actively solve digital optimization pain points. You will partner closely with internal execution specialists, marketing analysts, and external agency partners to transform data-driven insights into high-performing digital experiences.
Responsibilities
Own the website user experience strategy, content journeys, and project prioritization for multiple global web properties.
Oversee and manage enterprise properties within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Utilize web analytics and SEO data to identify user friction points, eliminate design bottlenecks, and continuously improve conversion rates.
Act as the strategic bridge between IT, marketing, business units, and external agency vendors, translating complex technical data into clear business recommendations.
Ensure all digital experiences align with strict enterprise brand standards, accessibility requirements, and corporate governance.
Qualifications
Top Must-Haves
Direct experience managing multiple sites within AEM.
Proven experience deciding digital user journeys and prioritizing enterprise-level web projects.
Familiarity with setting up and optimizing web/technical SEO.
Proficient in using data to identify user friction points and executing improvement plans.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience in website management, digital UX, web strategy, or digital marketing.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and deep familiarity with Local SEO.
Familiarity with Figma for site mock-ups and wireframe handoffs.
Background working agency-side managing complex client accounts or deep enterprise/corporate experience.
Required Technology & Tools
CMS: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Analytics: Google Analytics.
SEO & Site Monitoring: Enterprise suites such as BrightEdge, SEMrush, or SiteImprove.
