Part Time Event Setup-Maintenance Technician

Performs basic manual work assisting with event setup and facility maintenance. Performs basic maintenance tasks, such as, painting, plumbing and mechanical maintenance and repair tasks. Distinguishing Features of the Class. An employee in this class provides support in the coordination and operation of events at the Civic Center and conference center facilities. Work involves setting up for events, cleaning up before and after events and assisting during the events. The employee assists with general operations of the facilities. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Event Services Supervisor and is evaluated in terms of building cleanliness, proper and timely set-up and customer satisfaction.
