Job Summary

Universal Ads is building a new way for growth marketers to access premium video and CTV inventory at scale. As we expand our business, we are looking for a senior seller to lead our efforts across the App Marketing and AI customer segment, including mobile apps, subscription businesses, AI‑native companies, digital services, and other performance‑driven mobile advertisers. This will be the first dedicated sales hire focused on this segment, making it a highly strategic and entrepreneurial role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the CTV landscape, how app marketers and AI companies evaluate media across various measurement methodologies, and how premium video can drive the next phase of growth for this client set.
Responsibilities

Partner closely with the VP of Americas to build and own the App Marketing + AI customer segment.
Identify the highest‑potential accounts, prioritize where we can win, and build a clear go‑to‑market strategy for the segment.
Activate these client targets, develop a qualified pipeline, and turn early market momentum into durable revenue growth.
Define how Universal Ads should sell into this customer set, including positioning, industry presence, pitch narrative, measurement, and account prioritization.
Work closely with CSM, product, measurement, partnerships, marketing, and leadership to ensure our roadmap supports the needs of this customer segment.
Leverage established relationships across app marketers, MMPs, and advanced measurement partners to activate, measure, and scale business within this segment.
Speak credibly with sophisticated advertisers and quickly identify what Universal Ads needs to prove in order to earn budget.
Represent Universal Ads with customers and at industry events with credibility.
Educate customers on how CTV and premium video can complement existing performance channels and drive measurable business growth.
Show entrepreneurial mindset, shape a business rather than inherit one, and help build the foundation for future hiring, sales process, and segment expansion.

Qualifications

Relevant work experience: 10+ years in sales, especially with app marketers or AI companies, and advanced measurement partners.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred; experience may be considered).
Certifications (if applicable) are welcomed.
Key skills: Advertising, Client Relations, Customer Acquisition, Mobile Application Marketing.
Benefits

Base pay ranges from $207,050.94 to $310,576.41, with a targeted commission of $140,000.00. Eligible for commission and bonus opportunities as part of total rewards. Universal Ads offers comprehensive benefits to support employees physically, financially and emotionally.
