Promo and Coupon Planning, Senior Analyst

Position Summary Associate Manager, Category Promo & Coupon Planning & Execution.
Responsibilities Build and execute category-level bi-weekly promotional plans, ensuring event criteria, themes, and promo KPIs are met.
Partner to develop category and branded coupon offer pools that support category ad plans and deliver unit lift.
Ensure brand-level promo and coupon plans drive profitable sales while maintaining balanced promotion budgets.
Execute operational project plans, coordinate communications, and liaise with cross‑functional teams (Loyalty, Category, Supply Chain, Store Ops).
Manage web‑based promotional and coupon submission tools—maintenance, testing, validation, and data entry.
Identify and communicate risks, opportunities, and performance summaries to leadership.
Evaluate promo and coupon programs against category KPIs, recommend future initiatives, and set appropriate timelines and accountabilities.
Support ad‑hoc analytics, reporting, and deep‑dive questions related to front‑store sales and assortment.
Translate data insights into actionable recommendations and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in retail merchandising and/or marketing program development, implementation, and execution.
Strong problem‑solving skills, decisive action, and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience collaborating across functions and managing cross‑functional initiatives.
Self‑directed, high integrity, and judgment with a track record in handling sensitive business matters.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications 8+ years of experience in retail merchandising or marketing program execution.
8+ years in a highly competitive multi‑unit environment, including retail, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals.
Knowledge of change management techniques.
Master’s degree preferred.
