This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Digital Communications & Web Specialist is responsible for managing the YMCA's digital presence through website enhancements, social media management, and online engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Management
Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
Create engaging content for social media platforms that increases engagement.
Monitor channels and respond to comments and messages.
Track and report on engagement metrics.
Website Management & Digital Enhancements
Update website content and program information.
Implement website improvements and SEO enhancements.
Monitor analytics and recommend improvements.
Content Creation & Brand Management
Create graphics, videos, and multimedia content.
Maintain brand consistency.
Capture photos and videos at events.
Reporting & Analytics
Generate monthly performance reports.
Key Qualifications
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Experience with social media
Experience with website management, content creation, and analytics tools.
Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.
Must have strong interpersonal, public relations and communications skills.
Employee is required to keep current on new social media platforms, as well as digital marketing methods.
