Job Summary
The Marketing Automation and CRM Specialist leads the design, execution, and optimization of complex automated marketing programs across email, SMS, push, in‑app, and website retargeting channels. This role ensures seamless campaign delivery, enhances member engagement, and produces measurable business results. The specialist acts as a subject‑matter expert in marketing automation, develops advanced segmentation and personalization strategies, and delivers insights that influence marketing strategy and digital growth initiatives. The role also supports website and intranet initiatives, aligning digital channels to enhance engagement, efficiency, and conversion results.
Responsibilities
Results‑driven Marketing Automation & Multi‑Channel Campaign Management
Plan, execute, and optimize multi‑channel automated campaigns targeting new members, cross‑sell, and retention initiatives by configuring workflows, monitoring performance, and applying best practices to increase member engagement and conversion rates.
Design advanced automation workflows, personalization, and trigger campaigns to maximize engagement, conversions, and ROI.
Apply financial‑industry best practices in A/B testing, deliverability, segmentation, and multi‑channel orchestration.
Monitor KPIs, including open rates, click‑through, conversions, funnel progression, and ROI to maximize results.
CRM/Synapsys Oversight & Data Strategy
Manage CRM/Synapsys marketing integration, ensuring accurate member data, segmentation, and workflow execution to support campaigns.
Drive and oversee CRM marketing strategy to support frontline cross‑sale efforts, improve campaign efficiency, and enhance reporting.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
Analyze campaign results and member data by generating reports and insights to inform future marketing strategies and improve automation effectiveness.
Develop dashboards, executive summaries, and actionable insights to inform strategy, optimize workflows, and support growth.
Recommend and implement continuous improvements to automation processes, segmentation strategies, and campaign performance.
Website, Intranet & Partner Platform Support
Provide guidance and backup support for website and intranet development by assisting with updates, troubleshooting, and content management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement new functionality, integrations, and enhancements.
Ensure digital channels maintain brand consistency, usability, compliance, and alignment with marketing objectives.
Qualifications
Experience
Three years of experience in marketing automation, CRM management, or a related field.
Experience with financial services or credit union marketing preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing, information systems, communications, or a related area; or four years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Advanced coursework or certification in marketing automation, CRM, or a related discipline preferred.
Essential Requirements
Must be able to learn and retain information; resolve problems and think sequentially; remain in a stationary position; constantly operate a computer; and converse with others on a continual basis.
