Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Multimedia Production Manager, the Producer/Editor is responsible for producing and editing programs for Coral Gables Television from conception through airing.

Responsibilities

Creates, writes, produces, and edits programs for Coral Gables Television.

Creates graphics animations.

Provides audiovisual coverage of different events of the City.

Provides audiovisual support for meetings at City Hall and renders a video file of each meeting for the city clerk.

Takes pictures of events, special locations, businesses, and profile pictures of City staff.

Creates promotional packages to promote local businesses and public service announcements for the City.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (preferred).

Two (2) years of experience.

Valid Florida Driver’s License.

A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
