Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize automated lifecycle marketing journeys via HubSpot to engage investors and shareholders throughout their entire lifecycle (activation, retention, monetization, and deepening).
Lead the end‑to‑end execution of EquityZen’s performance marketing strategy, managing paid user acquisition campaigns across search (Google Ads, Bing) and paid social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) in partnership with the WM Media team.
Support martech integration from EquityZen systems into Morgan Stanley systems.
Manage paid media budgets and continually optimize bidding strategies, audience targeting, and channel mix to lower Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and maximize Lifetime Value (LTV).
Conduct rigorous A/B and multivariate testing on email campaigns, paid media creatives, ad copy, and landing pages to improve conversion rates and unit economics.
Build and maintain robust performance tracking and reporting dashboards using tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, and Mixpanel to generate actionable insights for leadership.
Partner with the broader Marketing, Content, and UX teams to ensure a cohesive and high‑quality customer experience from the first ad click through to post‑investment communications.
Manage and scale affiliate marketing programs using platforms like Impact, tracking partner performance and payout efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the internal Compliance team to ensure all paid media and lifecycle marketing campaigns adhere strictly to financial services regulations.
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive, hands‑on experience in performance, growth, or lifecycle marketing, ideally within financial services, FinTech, or a regulated B2C industry.
Advanced, hands‑on proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and comprehensive lifecycle marketing automation platforms (HubSpot strongly preferred, Salesforce).
Deep experience building performance reports and utilizing product analytics or data visualization tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Tableau, Excel/Google Sheets).
Strong understanding of marketing to affluent consumers or high‑net‑worth individuals, with a foundational grasp of private markets or B2B marketing dynamics.
Proven track record of managing significant paid media budgets and successfully scaling customer acquisition programs across multiple digital channels.
Highly analytical and data‑driven mentality, possessing the ability to distill complex campaign data into actionable strategic shifts.
Exceptional cross‑functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Product, Revenue, and external agencies or paid media partners.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple high‑impact campaigns simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Proven track record with martech integration and transitions.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
