What You’ll Do
- Shape the Narrative: Develop and execute earned media strategies that reinforce TCS’s leadership in digital transformation, AI, cloud, and emerging technologies.
- Engage the Media: Build and sustain relationships with influential journalists, editors, producers, and influencers across business, tech, and trade outlets.
- Tell Great Stories: Partner with business units, marketing, and leadership to translate complex technology topics into compelling stories that garner high‑value media coverage.
- Media Train Executive: Provide executives with proven strategies for successfully participating in media interviews and speaking engagements.
- Amplify Leadership: Consistently secure high‑impact interviews, bylines, and media opportunities for senior executives.
- Navigate with Confidence: Provide communications counsel and media support during issues and high‑visibility moments.
- Track and Improve: Monitor coverage, assess performance, and share data‑driven insights to strengthen storytelling impact.
Qualifications
- Experience: 13–15 years in media relations, journalism, or corporate communications, ideally within the B2B technology or professional services sectors.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of enterprise tech trends—AI, automation, data, cloud, cybersecurity—and how they drive business transformation.
- Relationships: Proven network of contacts across major business and technology media.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional writing, storytelling, and message development skills; ability to craft narratives that resonate with business audiences.
- Strategic Mindset: Confident managing complex issues, thinking critically, and influencing at senior levels.
- Collaboration: Thrives in a global, matrixed environment and enjoys working with cross‑functional teams.
- Tools: Experience with media monitoring and analytics platforms (e.g., Cision, Meltwater)
Salary Range
$119,900–162,200 a year
