A confidential search on behalf of one of South Florida's most recognised real estate development. The business designs, builds, owns, and operates its properties across the full project lifecycle, with a portfolio spanning luxury residential, hospitality, F&B, and entertainment. This is no one-trick pony.
The role
You will work directly alongside the Head of Development across a live pipeline of 12+ active projects. This is a hands-on execution role covering ground-up development, major capital programmes, and complex repositioning across multiple asset classes simultaneously. You will be the Executive's right hand on projects ranging from a high-end condominium developed in partnership with a major institutional partner, major waterfront property and infrastructure, two ground-up hotels, and a full country club and golf course rebrand and rebuild.
Day to day this means managing relationships with GCs and sub-contractors from the owner's side, driving entitlements, keeping budgets honest, and moving projects forward in parallel without dropping threads. The business has an in-house construction capability as well as established external contractor relationships.
What we're looking for
- Experience in institutional real estate development, from a recognised developer or developer-operator
- Background that leans towards architecture or construction before development is a plus, though finance backgrounds will be considered
- Fluent in development budgets and capital structures; doesn't need to be an underwriter but needs to understand the logic
- Entitlements experience is important
- Strong project management discipline with the ability to run across multiple projects and asset classes at once
