Instrument Designer - B'ham

Genesis Technical Staffing is seeking an Instrument Designer for long term employment in Birmingham, AL.
We are hiring design professionals who have detailed design experience with AutoCAD or Plant 3D or similar software.

Overview:

Work will be in office in Birmingham, AL
Design and check drawing installation packages consisting of P&IDs (including instrumenting P&IDs, and adding control and interlock notes), data sheets, architecture drawings, functional descriptions, instrument index, loop sheets, interconnection diagrams, instrument location plans, IO lists and cable schedules
Experience working in a heavy industrial consulting engineering environment
Able to work well in fast-track projects
Good communication and presentation skills
OT is likely but varies depending on project.
