Brand Media and Sponsorship Business Director We are seeking a dynamic Brand Media and Sponsorship Business Director to serve as the Dedicated Global Brand Media Lead for our organization. This high‑impact individual contributor role bridges the Integrated Marketing and Creative team with the Global Media and Sponsorship team.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Governance – act as the primary strategic interface for Integrated Marketing & Creative organization.
Process Governance – collaborate cross‑functionally to design, implement, and govern the interaction process between Integrated Marketing, Brands and execution teams.
Project Leadership – lead high‑visibility brand and partner projects, driving alignment across internal stakeholders and external agencies.
Innovation – champion innovative ideas and approaches; guide hybrid in‑house digital teams and external agencies toward optimal media strategy, integrated media plans, data‑driven learning agendas, and mobilizing insights & optimization outputs to drive efficiency.
Brief Ownership – own the distribution and communication of all brand media and sponsorship briefs (internal and external).
Core Deliverable Management – manage the development and delivery of key outputs, including strategic approaches, rationale, and post‑campaign reports.
Objective Planning – apply analytical rigor and a scientific mindset to produce evidence‑based proposals, rationale, and learning agendas.
Stakeholder Alignment – work with Planning, Agency, and Execution Leads to coordinate responses to briefs.
Creative Integration – collaborate with Integrated Marketing & Creative teams to align media, sponsorship, and creative strategies.
P&L Ownership – be accountable for brand‑specific media and sponsorship finance decisions and P&L management.
Business Reporting – drive brand business targets and lead comprehensive reporting activities.
Global Synthesis – synthesize market‑specific schematics and reports into global views, analyze learnings, and provide actionable insights.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
12+ years experience in client management and strategic media and sponsorship planning, gained in‑house or in a senior leadership role at a media, agency or technology platform.
Proven experience leading complex, multi‑market brand media strategies across channels.
Strong financial acumen with track record managing large, complex media budgets and P&Ls.
Exceptional communication skills, able to synthesize complex data into clear narratives.
Preferred Qualifications Highly consultative approach with strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated operational excellence, prioritizing multiple projects and governing process.
Analytical mindset comfortable applying data, measurement frameworks, and learning agendas.
Proactive problem‑solver who identifies issues and opportunities, takes ownership, and escalates appropriately.
Compensation The total cash range for this position in West Hollywood is $207,500.00 to $290,500.00. Employees may reach up to $332,000.00 based on performance.
