Role Summary
User Interface Engineer Technical Lead – Atlanta, GA. Lead technical initiatives across UI teams, drive architecture, design, performance, and code quality for scalable web applications. Actively participate in Scrum teams to design, develop (including POCs), test, and deploy software. Ensure engineering standards for resilience, quality, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with UX design and offshore teams to deliver a high‑quality user experience.
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership to UI teams and align with departmental and enterprise goals.
Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
Define and refine API contracts and optimize front‑end performance for speed and scalability.
Coordinate with UX designers to create best‑possible end‑user experiences.
Guide and mentor offshore engineering teams to meet functional requirements, quality, and performance targets.
Drive best practices, coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD setup (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and operational support.
Participate in technology evaluation, adoption, and rollout decisions.
Communicate technical decisions and update stakeholders at senior management level.
Qualifications
6 years of experience in software development lifecycle: design, coding, debugging, testing, release, and operations.
Hands‑on experience building single‑page applications (SPA) and RESTful services.
Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and modern API/service architecture.
Experience with CI/CD toolkits, source control (Git, Stash), and automated testing.
Proficiency with UI technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React.
Excellent communication skills for technical, non‑technical, and management audiences.
Experience delivering high‑volume, client‑facing web applications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple disciplines.
Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on quality and performance.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) plus 4 years of experience, or Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) plus 1 year of experience acceptable.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $155,877 – $204,840 (location and qualifications may adjust). Supplemental incentive programs may apply. Employees receive flexible vacation, seven paid holidays, up to 160 paid wellness hours, bereavement leave, jury duty leave, military leave, parental leave, and other paid time off options.
