Position Overview
Seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage the sourcing and purchasing of indirect materials, technology hardware, Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products, and specialized goods and services in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supplier management, negotiations, and end-to-end procurement activities while partnering with internal stakeholders to support business and technical requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably supporting indirect spend categories
Experience sourcing COTS products and technology/IT hardware
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
Experience with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or other regulated industries
Knowledge of quality, compliance, and procurement requirements in regulated environments
Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or equivalent
Experience with strategic sourcing and category management
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full procurement lifecycle for indirect materials, technology hardware, COTS products, and specialized goods/services
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and service objectives
Issue RFQs/RFPs and conduct competitive bid evaluations
Procure computing equipment, networking hardware, peripherals, test equipment, and related technology products
Support procurement activities requiring quality, compliance, traceability, or technical specifications
Develop and maintain supplier relationships while resolving delivery, quality, and invoicing issues
Partner with business, engineering, IT, and operational stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and support audit requirements
