Job Summary
Hazard Community and Technical College invites applications for the position of Marketing/Communications Specialist I. The Marketing/Communications Specialist I will be primarily responsible for developing and disseminating outreach materials for retention related programs and services.

NOTE: Position funded by Title III grant.

Job Duties

Develops promotion/outreach materials for retention related programs and services.

Works closely with faculty and student services to design, promote, and embed retention services materials and media.

Coordinates the creation of video and audio productions.

Designs desktop publishing materials for distribution.

Coordinates and ensures the accuracy of college-wide print jobs.

Using data analytics, make outreach and promotion decisions.

Publishes retention related media and materials internally and on social media.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (related field) plus four years related experience, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in desktop publishing, video and audio production, and graphic design is preferred.
