Agency Producer

Fact & Fiction · Niwot, CO, USA ·

Pay:
$450-550/day
Job type:
Contract

As the Fact & Fiction Agency Producer, you have a deep love of storytelling and a producer's instinct for getting things made, whatever the medium. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with Creatives, Account, Project Management, and our internal and external partners to bring work to life across video, photography, print, branded product, experiential, digital, and post.

We're looking for a producer who can flex across formats, bring production thinking to the table early, and treat every project like the work depends on it. One day it's a video shoot, the next it's a print campaign, a run of branded merch for a client's online store, or an in‑person activation. Creative, easygoing, quick on their feet, solutions‑driven, and organized enough to keep high‑quality work moving on time in a fast‑paced environment. If that's just how you work, keep reading.

Day in the Life

Own projects from estimate to final delivery across a range of formats: video and broadcast, photography, print and OOH, branded product and merchandise, experiential and events, digital, and post

Manage a multitude of jobs at once without losing sight of the big creative picture or the smallest production detail, all while meeting agency standards and client objectives

Build rapport and consensus across a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally, including agency creatives, Account, and PMs

Develop accurate estimates and schedules, then manage budgets against them and clearly communicate timelines, deliverables, and resourcing needs throughout the life of a project

Line produce your own video and photo shoots when scope calls for it, from crewing and booking to call sheets and on‑set management, while continuing to oversee your wider slate

Manage print and product runs end to end: sourcing vendors, spec’ing materials, navigating proofs and quality control, coordinating fulfillment, and producing branded goods for client retail and e‑commerce

Produce experiential and event work, coordinating fabrication, vendors, logistics, and on‑site execution

Build, brief, and award work to external partners across disciplines, including creating RFPs, negotiating rates and terms, and treating every collaborator like an extension of the team

Bring production thinking upstream, advising creative and account teams during concept and scoping on what’s possible and what it costs, so production is an additive voice in shaping the work rather than the team that just executes it

Partner closely with our post‑production team and help shepherd work through edit, finishing, and delivery

Supervise and make informed decisions that drive production and post forward without sacrificing budget or concept

Identify and troubleshoot communication gaps, logistical and scheduling challenges, and competing priorities, then allocate resources and mitigate the fallout

Communicate production processes and best practices while continually hunting for efficiencies in time and spend

Carry a working knowledge of industry production contracts, negotiate terms independently, and pull in legal when it matters

Mentor junior team members

Here’s what you need to get our attention:

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent work experience

4+ years of brand production experience, or equivalent range across formats, at an agency, production company, or in‑house creative team

Demonstrated range across more than one production discipline (e.g., video plus print, product, or experiential)

Ability to travel (up to 20%)

Here’s what will make us call you for sure:

A true generalist producer who’s comfortable moving between a video shoot, a print run, a branded product drop, and an activation without missing a beat

Strong business acumen and a clear understanding of how to hit a brand standard and a high aesthetic bar within set budgets and schedules

Experience advising creative teams at the concept stage on production costs and execution options to land the best work for the most efficient timeline and budget

Superior estimating, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, and project management skills

Comfortable managing small and large budgets across multiple concurrent productions

Experience across live action, photography, VFX, and animation

Print production know‑how: paper and material specs, proofing, color, finishing, and vendor management

Familiarity with product and merchandise production, from sourcing and sampling to QC and fulfillment, ideally for retail or e‑commerce

Experiential and event production experience, including fabrication and on‑site coordination

Solid grasp of usage and licensing, with the confidence to navigate those territories

Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written skills

Comfortable working through ambiguity in strategic and creative development without hand‑holding or a roadmap

Independent and quick on your feet, with a solution and a clear way to communicate it for every challenge

A decision‑maker with a track record of delivering on time and on budget

Proficiency in MS Office and AICP budgeting

A disciplined approach to managing projects, with the flexibility to adapt when things change

Not required, but it’ll give you an edge

An established local and global network of world‑class creative, production, editorial, motion, illustration, print, fabrication, and freelance partners

Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
