Associate Marketing Product Manager

The Associate Marketing Product Manager provides the operational backbone for Safeguard’s global category management teams. This role ensures data integrity, launch readiness, and cross‑functional communication. It’s a foundational role designed for emerging leaders who want to build deep product and market knowledge while supporting mission‑critical programs across the organization.

Key Objectives

Maintain accuracy of all product and portfolio data.

Deliver timely and precise performance dashboards and insights.

Support launch execution, trade show preparation, and campaign operations.

Enable cross‑functional communication and reporting cadence.

Represent Product Marketing on cross‑functional initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

Manage SKU documentation, pricing, and portfolio data systems.

Support monthly and quarterly performance tracking and category KPI dashboards.

Coordinate launch readiness and asset creation with marketing.

Compile post‑launch and trade show reports for ROI measurement.

Log and maintain all VOC data and product feedback.

Collaborate with colleagues across our global network to solve real‑world challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.

1–3 years of experience in product or marketing operations preferred.

Strong analytical and data organization skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data tools.

Preferred: exposure to product management, marketing, or supply chain functions.

Preferred: familiarity with BI tools (Power BI) and/or other analytical platforms.

Preferred: experience supporting trade shows, launches, or cross‑functional projects.

Preferred: experience in medical, safety, or tactical industries.

Physical Requirements
Performing the duties of this job regularly involves sitting, standing, walking, hearing, repetitive hand movement, grasping, and reaching. Vision requirements include the ability for close vision, to adjust focus, and to color code.

Mental Requirements
This position requires the ability to maintain an appropriate work pace, comprehend and follow instructions, read, count, and compute; exercise logic, reasoning, organization, prioritization, problem solving, decision making, data analysis, and multi‑tasking while managing numerous interruptions.

Other Requirements
The position may require occasional on‑call or after‑hours shifts including weekends.

Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
