Position Overview
As a Sales Executive at Baxter, you will drive the sales of capital equipment to U.S. hospitals within your assigned territory. This includes patient beds, stretchers, surfaces and service solutions. You will collaborate with local sales teams and leadership to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, provide expert knowledge, and support successful purchase and implementation of Baxter’s solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new sales opportunities and nurture relationships within assigned territory

Expand existing business while maintaining current client base satisfaction

Use customer insights to develop targeted sales strategies and tailor responses to specific customer requirements

Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas assigned by leadership; maintain accurate and timely CRM/forecast updates

Engage in effective negotiations with customers and finalize sales

Communicate and strategize with internal customers

Lead sales specialists and services personnel to drive new deals

Supervise the installation of new products post‑delivery to ensure customer satisfaction

Connect with key decision‑makers and spend more than 60% of time on site with customers

Travel up to 80% of the time

Qualifications & Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to different audiences

High performance in delivering compelling presentations that resonate with audiences

Strong self‑motivation, drive, resilience, dedication, and integrity with a sense of urgency

Proven track record of implementing strong strategy plans and completing tasks

Ability to balance competing priorities simultaneously

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Skillful in navigating cross‑functional teams and projects, including sales activity planning and local market analysis

Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and changing business needs

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Salesforce knowledge is a plus

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred

3+ years of sales experience (medical device or healthcare sales preferred)

Capital sales experience in a sophisticated decision‑making environment is a plus

Field Based Role
This is a field‑based role that requires residence within a 40‑mile radius of Los Angeles, CA.

Compensation
The estimated pay range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000 annually. This estimate may vary based on market data and other factors.
