Every campus exists to extend the reach of this mission spiritually, relationally, and practically.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Content Creator supports The Word Church's digital presence by producing compelling, mission-aligned content for social media platforms and digital channels. This role works directly under the Digital Director to bring strategy to life through engaging visuals, video, and written content that reflects the voice, heart, and culture of The Word Church.This is a hands-on creative role for someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera, in a design tool, and behind a caption. The Content Creator will play a key role in how the church is experienced online — capturing moments, building community, and amplifying the ministry's reach.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESContent Creation & ProductionCreate high-quality photo, video, graphic, and written content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTokCapture content during weekend services, events, and ministry activations — including photo, short-form video, and behind-the-scenes momentsEdit and produce content that is on-brand, visually compelling, and optimized for each platformDevelop Reels, Stories, and short-form video content that drives engagement and reflects current platform trendsSupport the creation of digital graphics, email headers, and web assets as neededSocial Media ManagementManage day-to-day posting and scheduling across church social media accountsTranslate the Digital Director's content strategy into a structured, consistent posting calendarWrite platform-native captions that reflect the church's voice — warm, clear, faith-rooted, and culturally relevantMonitor comments, messages, and community engagement across platforms and respond or elevate as appropriateStay current on platform updates, algorithm shifts, and content trends to keep strategy informed and execution sharpPartner closely with the Digital Director to execute communication and content plans for church-wide initiatives, sermon series, and eventsCollaborate with the Creative, Worship, and Production teams to ensure content captures and reflects ministry experiences accuratelyContribute ideas for content themes, campaigns, and storytelling approaches during planning conversationsTrack performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and share insights to support strategic decisionsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESPersonal relationship with Jesus ChristAlignment with The Word Church's mission, values, and leadership cultureDemonstrates the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23) in posture and communicationCreative self-starter who takes initiative and follows through with excellenceCollaborative spirit with a servant's heartAdaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, live ministry environmentsQUALIFICATIONSExperience creating content for social media platforms in a professional, ministry, or brand contextProficiency in photo and video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Lightroom, or equivalent)Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative SuiteStrong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and best practicesAbility to write clear, engaging, on-brand copy for social captions and digital contentComfortable working on-site during weekend services and key church eventsPreferredExperience in a church, nonprofit, or faith-based organizationBackground in digital marketing, communications, or media productionFamiliarity with social scheduling tools (Later, Sprout Social, or equivalent)Basic photography skills and comfort operating a camera in a live environmentExperience with Planning Center or similar church management platforms#J-18808-Ljbffr
