This role serves as a key link between the sales, editorial, and production teams, ensuring the accurate booking and placement of advertisements, managing classifieds and legal notices, coordinating newsletters and sponsored content, and helping maximize the visibility of both client and house marketing campaigns. The role includes selling print, digital, newsletter, and special publication advertising products and comes with a client list.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple projects, communicating with advertisers and internal stakeholders, and contributing to revenue growth through exceptional customer service and sales support.
Book print and digital advertisements for sales department Book ads in system ensuring accuracy
Assist with digital ad web placements
Sell print, digital, newsletter, and special publication advertising products, with commissions, handling one-time advertisers and inbound leads
Manage Classifieds and Legal notices Help implement new Classifieds system
House Advertising Collaborate to plan and manage house ad inventory across print, website, newsletters, and social media
Newsletter Management Coordinate content placement and distribution in collaboration with editorial and sales teams
Sponsored Content Execution Manage and prepare all sponsored content across newsletters, print products, and social media channels
Social Media Management & Analytics, if time permits
Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable learning and using advertising and publishing software platforms, including Google Ad Manager.
Experience with digital advertising operations, print production, or publishing preferred.
Proficiency with standard office software and administrative tools.
Base salary: $45,000 plus commissions plus benefits, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $50,000–$55,000 total compensation. Benefits include health care and a 401 (k).
