Told By Fire Media · East Providence, RI, USA · Remote ·

Job type:
Freelance

Told By Fire Media is a high-capacity video production and social media marketing agency based in Warwick, Rhode Island. We create premium branded content for local industry leaders — and we're passionate about helping businesses show up and stand out in the digital space. Our in-house and remote team is experienced, driven, and deeply collaborative.
The Role Are you an outgoing, energetic creative who knows how to rally a room and deliver on deadline? Do you thrive on set as much as you do in the edit bay?
We're looking for a Shooter / Producer / Editor to join our growing team. This is a freelance/flex role to start — with a clear path to full-time for the right person. You'll mix on-location client shoots with in-office editing sessions, work alongside a talented team, and eventually run your own productions for our clients.
If you're a self-starter who brings enthusiasm and drive every day and wants to grow with a company that's going places — keep reading.
What We're Looking For Enthusiastic, positive, and proactive — you take direction well and figure it out when you need to
Professional experience with videography and Adobe Premiere Pro (non-negotiable)
Have worked with a Sony FX3 or similar; confident operating video, audio, and lighting equipment
Strong understanding of color correction and online video delivery standards
Excellent organizational and communication skills — on set and off
Comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-moving creative team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Availability for nights and weekends when productions call for it
Bonus points for experience with Monday.com, Slack, Canva, or Adobe Photoshop
What You'll Do Assist on or lead frequent half-day client shoots
Edit video deliverables on time, every time
Manage footage organization, archiving, and delivery
Maintain and update team tracking systems and production workflows
Contribute to constructive project reviews — we push each other to do better work
Learn our processes, grow with our systems, and bring your best every day
Background We're looking for someone who has a 'love of the game' and/or has been shooting/editing their own stuff for years and would like to contribute to and the support of a bigger operation.
A degree in Film, Video Production, Marketing, or a related field is a plus — but your experience and your reel speak louder. Candidates with real production hours and a hunger to grow are exactly who we want to hear from.
