Position Summary
The Sales Director is responsible for driving occupancy growth and revenue generation for our Independent Living and Assisted Living community. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families, guiding them through the decision-making process while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is an energetic relationship-builder who is passionate about senior living, skilled at converting leads into move-ins, and committed to helping seniors find the right place to call home.
Key Responsibilities
Drive occupancy growth through proactive lead generation, relationship development, and strategic sales initiatives.
Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry through move-in, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for prospective residents and families.
Conduct community tours that effectively showcase the lifestyle, amenities, services, and value of the community.
Build and maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior service organizations, realtors, attorneys, financial planners, and other community partners.
Develop and execute outreach plans to increase community awareness and generate qualified leads.
Represent the community at networking events, community functions, health fairs, and professional association meetings.
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects through calls, emails, personal visits, and other communication channels.
Track lead activity, sales performance, conversion ratios, and occupancy metrics utilizing the CRM system.
Collaborate with Executive Leadership and department heads to ensure an exceptional resident experience from inquiry through move-in.
Partner with marketing teams to develop and implement advertising, social media, digital marketing, and community engagement strategies.
Identify market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities to strengthen the community's market position.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, occupancy forecasts, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, move-ins, deposits, and sales activity.
Assist residents and families with understanding service offerings, pricing structures, and available care options.
Serve as a brand ambassador for the community and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of sales, marketing, business development, or senior living experience preferred.
Previous experience in Assisted Living, Independent Living, Senior Living, Healthcare, Hospitality, Real Estate, or related industries strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in achieving occupancy, revenue, or sales goals.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to develop meaningful relationships with seniors, families, and professional referral sources.
Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing tools.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events and networking opportunities.
