Role
Associate Photographers are responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com, capturing virtual tours, floor plans, and photography using Pro 3 Matterport cameras, digital cameras, and iPads. They are assigned a core territory and service clients within that area, scheduling appointments, scanning homes and apartments, and producing marketing photography for listings.

Responsibilities

Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours, footprints, and high‑quality photographs.

Create a portfolio of photographs that best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to capture spaces pleasingly.

Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.

Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.

When not working on a residential property, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage, identify new inventory, and photograph commercial properties.

Abide by CoStar safety standards to protect company vehicles and equipment.

Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.

Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of professional experience in real‑estate photography.

Experience working as a professional photographer or a degree in photography.

High School Diploma or GED.

Strong customer‑service mindset and experience.

FAA Part 107 Drone License (obtained within 30 days of offer).

Excellent time‑management, detail orientation, and data entry accuracy.

Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, internet applications, and Apple iOS products.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Field experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; must pass driving record check before start.

Physical Requirements
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 5 pounds. Frequent hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying. Must work and drive outside during all seasons and be available for weekends on a rotating schedule.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage equivalent to $49,000‑$50,000 annually based on skills.
