Job Summary:

Coordinates the daily operation of digital and social media plans and platforms by creating and publishing content on all social media platforms, RiversCasino.com, and on property.

Shift Availability:

Day Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Swing Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Duties/Responsibilities:

Creates, and develops content for all digital media platforms.

Assist with digital and social media campaigns and strategy.

Assists with overall content and is responsible for the day-to-day dialogue related to digital media programs.

Executes social media advertising efforts including, but not limited to, creative development, content, production, website, email marketing, SEO, and Mobile App.

Serves as a point of contact for social media platforms interacting with users by providing superior customer service.

Stays current with all social media making recommendations when needed to stay current.

Attends property events and produces content to be used in live and/or social media campaigns.

Oversees the execution of the Rivers Casino mobile app and RiversCasino.com this includes but is not limited to the construction of pages, updates, and advancements in technology items such as social gaming and My Rush Rewards.

Interfaces with other departments to coordinate activities that require digital or social media advertising, as well as tracking results of all direct response programs.

Assists in the development of general marketing plans, operating reviews, and consolidation of departmental marketing plans.

Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.

Attend and participate in off-property functions and events as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

A college degree or other work or educational equivalent required.

1-3 years of experience working in a digital or social media marketing.

1-3 years of graphic design experience or combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience in video editing, production, and photography.

Experience in Adobe Design Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, PremirePro, After Affects.

Business intelligence stays current and understands how what happens in the world affects us, our marketplace, and our competition.

Environmental radar, understanding how to get things done and when to involve others in decisions.

Range of influence, inspire confidence, be authentic, build and leverage a powerful internal and external network.

Ability to travel off-property and execute events outside of the casino if needed.

Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Must be able to lift 40lbs., bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time; climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.

Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
