About us
You will be joining at an exciting time as we seek to continue to lead the future for both the planet, people and business. Sustainability is one of the four strategic pillars of Mondelez Vision 2030 and a must‑win battle for the UK & I in 2026. This role leads strategy, prioritisation and planning for the UK across our pillars of packaging, ingredients and local carbon reduction. It partners across categories and functions to deliver ambitions that meet the local customer, consumer and regulatory landscape.
The Role
In short, this is an amazing opportunity to lead, shape and grow the future of our UK sustainability agenda, taking it to the next level in 2026 & beyond. This role translates the global pillars of sustainability for local adoption, accelerating critical pillars such as packaging and ingredients. You will partner with brand and customer teams to identify and unlock growth opportunities, ensure we’re sufficient to meet our packaging ambitions, reduce virgin plastic and drive circularity, and partner with our Regional Sustainability and Corporate Affairs to ensure we’re ready for regulation. You will lead the UK&I green army, including our cross‑functional Sustainability Working Group and employee‑led org GreenBite. You will also play a key role in driving pride across the organisation by speaking internally and potentially externally about our achievements.
