POSITION OVERVIEW
The A & D Representative maintains and expands relationships with assigned account base customers, aiming to maximize sales and profit for every account and to expand CR market penetration within the assigned area. The representative showcases the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, leads the customer account planning cycle, and ensures customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

This position requires building and sustaining productive relationships and partnerships with current customers and prospects in order to grow sales and expand CR penetration with Designers, Architects and Builders’ segments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.

Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

Lead a joint company account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three‑year period.

Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.

Develop a sales action plan to service high‑growth accounts, collect strategic “intel,” and generate leads from the existing account base to better infiltrate designers, architects, and builders as potential customers.

Participate actively with local professional organizations linked with CR’s tactics and strategies.

Create and execute specific plans to introduce and implement CR products in showrooms and in A & D Representative accounts to generate demand within the market; expand Pompeii brand penetration by assigning more displays to qualified customers and locations.

Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet assigned expectations for profitability.

Achieve customer objectives defined by company management.

Complete customer account plans that meet company standards.

Coordinate closely with company executives regarding customer management.

Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

Meet quarterly target expectations in the CR‑Display program once posted.

Visit each customer with displays at least once per month, reporting visits via email to the Director of Sales.

Strategize, organize assigned territory or region and plan sales calls weekly.

Develop an action plan to approach designers, architects, and builders, once fabricator leads are found during weekly visits.

Promote and execute product knowledge at customer locations and, if possible, invite customers to visit one of CR’s branches.

Actively participate and leverage branch events to increase sales.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or proven track record of at least 10 years in sales and marketing.

Prefer knowledge and experience in the building material industry.

Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of CR’s competitors and assist in developing strategies to outperform them.

Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and possessing a hunter mentality in developing and executing strategic plans.

Skilled in discovering, creating, and developing new opportunities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong desire, ability, and competitiveness to succeed.

Minimum 50% regional travel required to cover territory.
