Washington Pavilion Management, Inc.(WPMI) is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead integrated marketing initiatives across a diverse portfolio of cultural, educational, and hospitality experiences.
This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive audience engagement, revenue growth, brand awareness, and community impact for the Washington Pavilion’s museums and memberships, education programs, and food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns for assigned business units and initiatives.
Serve as the primary marketing liaison for internal stakeholders and organizational partners.
Translate strategic goals into actionable marketing plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Manage campaign execution across paid, earned, shared, and owned media channels.
Monitor campaign performance and recommend adjustments to improve results and maximize return on investment.
Ensure brand consistency, messaging alignment, and editorial quality across all marketing efforts.
Oversee marketing strategies and initiatives supporting:
Museums and Memberships
Visual Arts Center
Kirby Science Discovery Center
Sweetman Planetarium
Membership growth and retention
Exhibitions and guest experiences
Education Programs
Youth camps and classes
Family programming
Adult education offerings
Food & Beverage Operations
Parlour Ice Cream
The Lodge Bar & Grill at Jacobson Plaza
Additional organizational initiatives as assigned
Directly supervise and develop marketing team members.
Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings focused on performance, development, and workload management.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
Lead weekly production and planning meetings.
Prioritize resources and allocate team capacity to meet organizational goals and campaign deadlines.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solutions‑oriented team culture.
Complete performance evaluations, goal setting, and payroll approvals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of professional marketing and communications experience.
Minimum of two years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Demonstrated success leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms.
Experience working within arts, entertainment, education, nonprofit, hospitality, tourism, or destination-based organizations.
Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) Style.
Experience managing creative development and content strategy.
