Traffic Reporter & Producer - Atlanta

Position Overview

iHeartMedia is hiring a Traffic Reporter and Producer in Atlanta to provide timely, accurate traffic updates and related content across our radio and digital platforms.
Responsibilities

Gather regional traffic information and enter details into internal computer and web systems
Read traffic reports, commercials, and public service messages to listeners
Identify, research, and create copy regarding traffic to feature during on‑air shift; finalize content using digital audio editing software
Manage information, keeping all facts straight, ensuring details are accurate and current, and tracking any changes
Maintain crucial deadlines to provide traffic updates in a timely fashion
Prepare written content, visual images, audio material, and video footage for websites, blogs, or other social‑media platforms
Qualifications

Reside in the Atlanta metro area
Knowledge of local coverage area geography, roadways, mass transit, and traffic patterns
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Pleasant, charismatic, and well‑controlled voice with excellent pronunciation
Experience working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented, newsroom‑like collaborative environment
Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
Willingness to work split shifts (4hours in AM Drive, 4hours in PM Drive) and weekends
Previous on‑air broadcast experience
College degree preferred, but not required
