Summary
Senior Graphic Designer responsible for marketing product graphics and promotional materials at Agri-Cover, Inc., in Jamestown, ND.
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing marketing strategies, objectives, and branding.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior designers.
- Review work and provide feedback to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with designers to define project tasks, distribute workloads fairly, and ensure timely completion.
- Design layout and promotional material.
- Maintain price books to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Create and update images, video footage, or new layouts for brochures, displays, websites, posters, decals, direct mail, advertising, press releases, and catalogs; coordinate and execute photo shoots.
- Shoot and edit video.
- Conduct photo and video shoots (approximately 25% of time); climb ladders, kneel, bend, crawl, stoop as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate color and high-quality output on in-house marketing printers.
- Optimize designs for cost-effective production while maintaining quality.
- Design and assist with development of product packaging, merchandising displays, and other point-of-purchase materials.
- Assist with trade show booth layout and design; create signage and display materials.
- Oversee final ad appearance to ensure high quality.
- Continuously evaluate the ever-changing marketing and social media landscape and bring new platforms and innovative ideas to the internal team.
- Assist technical publications writer with design of instructional materials, images, and videos.
- Maintain images on ACI and other company websites.
- Support and troubleshoot hot folder workflows and other print production processes.
- Implement improvements.
- Must be legally authorized to drive and able to properly operate a company pickup.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years professional graphic design experience.
- Associate's degree (B.A.) in Graphic Design and/or Communications, or at least two years related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
- Ability to read, comprehend, write simple correspondence, and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units; compute rate, ratio, percent; draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning skills: apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions; handle problems with few concrete variables.
- Computer skills: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Premiere and After Effects, Microsoft Office Suite, internet, spreadsheet and word processing software.
Physical Demands
The role requires sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel, reaching, talking or hearing; occasionally standing, walking, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must regularly lift 25 lbs, frequently lift 50 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs; team lifting is preferred for loads over 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and adjustment of focus.
